Reflections/comments

First of all, I wish to thank all the the people and the agencies who in one way or another made the holding of this seminar possible. I thank the Negros Oriental State University for the wholesome venue and the nutritious food served to us. But most of all, I thank our resource persons especially Mr. Romeo Aquivido who was very willing, accomodating and patience in making us learn new things in integrating technology in our teaching methods.

I wish that there will be more followup seminars regarding this new innovations in the teaching process so that we, especially the old teachers, to cope up with fast changing world and enable us to train our students to become more useful citizens of our country.

Module 1a

My reflection of the Pedagogical Perspectives on the Role of Technology in Education (Module 1)

Module 1 presents to me the importance of technology in the learning-teaching process. It does not only be infused in the structure but also to be integrated in the whole system. However, the stumbling block of this venture in the public school system is the meager budget for education that deprives most of our schools in acquiring the necessary units that can be used in our classrooms. I believe that if the abandoned cyber Education project that was conceptualized by the Department of Education was implemented as programmed, it will benefit the thousands of the underprivileged public school students. That project, minus the kickbacks, pay offs and corruption, will revolutionize the teaching-leaning process and eventually equip every student the necessary tools needed in coping up with the fast changing technological world.

My reflection on the Instructional Design Models
(Module 2a)


The Instructional Design Models (Module 2a) presented to us further add our knowledge to make our teaching methods effective. I am again reminded of our sworn duty to help each and every learner we have in our school. Despite the fact that I am given not less than six teaching loads with an average of 50 to 60 students per class, I am determined to renew my commitment to my teaching duties to make it more enjoyable and interesting to every learner with integration of mMy Reflection on the Analysis of the Learner and the Environment (Module 2b)


The topic on the Analysis of the Learner and the Environment, reenact my ideals on understanding every leaner in all my classes. It reminds me that my being a teacher is not only a profession but a vocation as well. Understanding and analyzing every learner suggests that a teacher shall not only observe the behavior of the student in the classroom, or inside the perimeter of the school campus but shall extend his observation to the community where he/she resides.
